Tonight the corp will be competing in a much smaller show, only facing 7 other World Class corps. Hopefully they won't let this change their mindset and will they will be looking to get their first gold medal of the season

Update-10-7-08
Since they have done so well thus far I decided to give the kids and extra 10 minutes to relax before practice while we talked about staying humble and not letting this early success get to their heads.
They all seemed to understand what I was getting at. The main ones I am concerned about are the percussion. Those kids are performing on a much higher level than the rest of the corp is at this point. But they do still have a lot of things they could be doing better. I want to see them continue to improve as the season progresses. And I think that the way they are going now will definitely help them do this. But I fear that if they continue to have such success as they have had these first two shows then they will let it get to their heads.
The Guard is starting to come together. They won last night after placing 2nd in the season opener. They worked really hard and have continued to do so thus far today. The guard staff has challenged the guard to compete with the percussion. They are down 1-2(in terms of win this season) but they aren't going to give up. I can tell these kids are going to make this an interesting competition.
The Brass guys, on the other hand, are just trying to break out of their weird funk that they've started in this season. They were supposed to be the best section of the corp, given their age, but the percussion and guard are pushing the show this season. Hopefully Jeremy and Andrew can help the kids to focus so they will start competing with the guard and percussion in the 'trophy race'.
Perhaps they will be able to make a statement tonight at the Green Hornets Open(Hosted by the Green Hornets D&BC)

The corp recieved a 50.360(1.045 increase from the previous show) and finished in 2rd. The corp was .74 from finishing in first
The kids were ecstatic upon hearing their name announced in 2nd place
For the 2nd straight show The Wolves took first in The percussion Caption scoring a 6.160

The Wolves guard won the Guard caption with a 5.740
The Wolves Percussion section is now ranked 7th in the Wold Class Division
It was always important for me to keep our percussion section strong and I think that they have done an excellent job rising to the challenge and are showing that they are the driving force behind this ensemble
And our Color Guard has an important role as well because of the impact they have in our extremely visually oriented program this season.
Hopefully these sections will continue to drive the corps to a World Class Gold Medal

We are very happy to be competing in FMA's World Class this season. We hope to have great success this season and in seasons to come
The Corps has been practicing for weeks in preparation for the season opener October 5th at the Waldo Classic, which is hosted by Waldo Express, a fellow world class corp. There have been many changes to the corps repertoire before their first show but the staff feels that it will help them in the end. Hopefully we will be able to clean the show in time to have a clean run-through on the 5th
