Update - 11.02.06
Since the Corps has had an extensive amount of time away from performing, the staff decided to have an extra few hours of practicing today, before our first performance in almost a week, and only the 3rd of the season.
We chose this easier, schedule for the sake of having the newer members in the Corps(about 80% or so) not forced into a full on tour their first time competing. We also wanted to get ourselves back into the groove of teching the ensemble and being able to make changes more efficiently.
The kids are showing improvement, and are ready to take their place as a top ranked Corps after having these days to rest and think and prepare. I'm excited to see how they do tonight.

HOME SHOW Rained Out
Due to very very nasty weather, FMA has imformed The Directors that any shows on the 27th will be re-scheduled for a later date(hopefully sometime this week. I will have the results for that show once it has finished.
Lucky for us, this gives us more time to work, and possibly even more time to rest on what was initially a 3 day break.

Season 4 drew to a close this evening. The Wolves Drum and Bugle Corps unfortunately once again found itself sitting in the audience watching the elite 12 perform.
"It's a drag not getting to perform in finals my age out season" said Drum Major Alyssa Fredrickson.
But the season was not a complete loss. In fact, it was a historic one for FMA.
The Wolves Drum and Bugle Corps' Color Guard reached an un-thinkable level of performance, winning Gold at EVERY competition this season and finishing as the overall best ColorGuard, not only in World Class but in Every classification.
This run was similar to the season 2 run that the Percussion made when they won Gold in nearly every competition and finished first overall for the season and set the record for the highest percussion score. That was also the season that the guard finished first overall and set the record for highest Guard score, which was broken this season in their surge to claim the gold.
I am extremely proud of the entire Corps and especially of our AMAZING Gold Medal winning Color Guard.

*Guard Caption(F)*-Kate Richards, Andrea Wilson
Guard Caption(W)-Alex Mitchell, Brittany Williams
*Brass Caption(H)*-Jeremy Jones
Brass Caption(L)-Andrew Fletcher, Katie Williams
*Visual Coordinator*-Tyler Anderson
There have been some changes to the staff for Season III:
-Jeff Williams has left The Wolves as the Battery Caption. He intends to pursue a job in the Greater Atlanta Area as a band Director and we wish him the best of luck. Luckily for us Eric Jones, who joined us last season, has agreed to stick around and take on the task of being the Head Percussion Caption for The corps. Also we brought in Jason Smith, our age-out Co-Drum Captain, to work with the Battery this season
-Jeremy Fletcher has moved on to work with The Elitists Drum and Bugle Corp, one of our sister programs, as their Corp Director. We are very proud to have had Jeremy work with our staff and wish him, and the Elitists, the best of luck. Replacing him will be Our Age-Out Drum Major Jeremy Jones.
-Nathan Woodward has moved on to assist Jeremy with the Elitists as their Visual Coordinator. To replace him we brought up Tyler Anderson from the Wolfs Percussion Theatre.
-Andrea Wilson will also be joining the staff this season. Our all-star age-out Guard Captain will be working along side our already impressive Guard Staff of Kate Richards, Brittany Williams, and Alex Mitchell.
The corp will be presenting their Season III program: 5 Shades
This 5 movement long show features music made specifically for the corps by our staff, and friends who I have hired to help assist with the development and design of the show

Co-Drum Captain-Andrew Johnson
Guard Captain-Michael Moore+
Guard Lieutenant-Alana Goraw+
High Brass Captain-Jeff Young
Low Brass Captain-Bobby Young
Sadly we have some age-out section leaders:
-Jeremy Jones, our award winning Drum Major, has aged out this season. He is currently on staff with the corp as our High Brass Caption. Alyssa Fredrickson, our Assistant Drum Major last season, will be filling his shoes as she leads the corp this season.
-Joining Alyssa on the podium will be Drew Regents. He will be our new Assistant Drum Major.
-Jason Smith, along with Andrew Johnson, led our Drumline to multiple gold medal finishes throughout the two seasons The Wolves have been in existence. Sadly, we must bid Jason far well as he will no longer be marching with us. In his stead we have Yuri Palao who will be our new Battery Captain and Co-Drum Captain along side Andrew for this season.
-Unfortunately our guard is also taking a hit as well. Andrea Wilson, our incredibly talented Guard Captain the past two seasons, has aged out. She will be coming on board working as a staff member, but her presence on the field will surely be missed. Michael Moore, our Guard Lieutenant, will be taking the reigns as the Captain this season.
-Alana Goraw will be our new Guard Lieutenant to replace Michael, who has moved up in the ranks as our Guard Captain.
